Insurance Information
While I do not work directly with insurance companies, I can provide monthly superbills upon request which can be submitted for possible reimbursement.
Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for services provided by an out-of-network therapist. Good questions to ask regarding coverage and reimbursement:
- What are my mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible and have I met it?
- What is my co-pay?
- Will I be reimbursed for fees paid to an out-of-network provider?
- What is the coverage amount for an out-of-network therapy session?
- How many therapy sessions does my plan cover per calendar year?
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify me as soon as possible. A full session fee is charged for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24-hour notice except in cases of emergency or illness.
No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
With a compassionate and loving approach, I focus on getting to the root cause of your challenges, addressing trauma and attachment wounds, and creating new patterns.
